With Hotel 'Erve Bruggert' it is easily possible to enjoy your holiday and bring your horse with you.
De Haaksbergen area is ideal for all equestrian sport activities within ca. 2000 ha. of woods and countryland.
All roads are accessible for riders and drivers and the area offers miles and miles of bridle paths. How about crossing the German border, even without overtaking one dangerous crossroad ?

Our accommodation is situated directly to the woods, where you can easily enter the beautiful moors and heather fields and where you're able to ride the horse for miles without seeing one living soul, except for you and your horse.
We offer you route maps of the wide Haaksbergen area where all the special routes are displayed. Exploring the area using GPS technology is also a considerable option.
In case you love to ride the horseback without bringing your own horse, we offer you the possibility to explore nature on one of our horses. These expeditions are always accompanied by an experienced guide, who will lead you trough the beautiful areas of Twente, Germany and the so called Achterhoek.
For the equestrian interested, there are year round horse events, such as Military Boekelo, Expo on Horse in Hengelo and of course the Zilveren Ster of Haaksbergen with the Sterruiters.

The temptations of Twente's soil keep the sporting people and other actives amongst us continuously moving. There are numerous ways to exert yourself in a relaxed manner, or to get at ease. You'll never place your bets on the wrong horse, or, to be more precise: especially for the equestrians amongst us, the possibilities are almost without limits !

Equestrian Holiday Arrangement:

At your arrival a nice cup of coffee/tea is served in the restaurant of the hotel, that itself has a nice view over the meadows. You will stay for two nights in one of the cosy rooms, that is equipped with a bathroom with shower and toilet, comfortable seating and KTV, and of course, including rural breakfast.
The first day a 3-course dinner is served in the restaurant, and you will be able to use the GPS handheld device to explore nature in Twente and the Achterhoek.
Your horse is being taken care of in one of the spacious boxes (with flax) we offer. Hay and horse food are included.
